Jacey Davison serves as our church planting associate at Ascension Church in Uptown/Eastown Grand Rapids. He is a licentiate in the OPC Presbytery of Michigan and Ontario, and is married to Julie. They have two daughters, Kaiya and Winsley. Jacey is originally from Vancouver, British Columbia, and moved to Grand Rapids in 2018 to attend Puritan Reformed Theological Seminary. He graduated with his M.Div in 2021. Jacey and Julie were part of the launch team for the Grace Fellowship OPC church plant in Zeeland, MI, where Jacey served for nearly three years as an intern alongside Pastor Mike Schout. For the last several years, Jacey has been mentored by Pastor Steve Igo as a church planting intern at Cedar. Pastor Steve noticed that Jacey and Julie’s gifting and passions would be a great fit for a plant in Uptown Grand Rapids. Jacey and Julie agreed, and so the dream for Ascension Church was born!
